Bereavement Network Europe (BNE) is hosted by the Danish National Center for Grief. The Danish National Center for Grief is the data controller on behalf of BNE. At the Danish National Center for Grief, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We will be acting according to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

According to article 24 we are obligated to take into account the purpose, nature, context, and scope of any data processing activities. About The Danish National Center for Grief
The Danish National Center for Grief was founded in the year 2000. The Center has offices around Denmark and is increasingly engaging and cooperating with the bereavement community internationally. The Danish National Center for Grief also undertakes research and provides training and education for professionals across most sectors. The organization currently has fifty employees and about a hundred volunteers who all support the daily operations.
At the Danish National Center for Grief we provide support and specialized psychological therapy to children, teenagers, young adults and adults +65 who either live with a seriously ill family member or have lost a loved one.

Upon becoming a member of BNE, we collect the following personal data provided to us by you:

When processing payments, we also collect:

– Credit card details (card number, expiration date, and CVV). Your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

We process this data based on the consent you provide upon joining BNE and when making payments.

Members’ data, excluding credit card details, is shared solely with other members of the BNE to promote our organizational aim. Credit card details are only used for processing payments and are not shared with other members. No third parties have access to your data unless the law requires us to share it, or it’s essential for payment processing.
